Diamond painting is a relatively new art form where it breaks images down into patterns, very similar to cross stitch. Small, glossy tiles are then applied to canvas to make the pattern.
The tiles which are often called rhinestones or drills, are colour matched to the DMC thread colours and are 2.5mm in size. One side of the tile is flat which is stuck onto the canvas whilst the other is 5D, giving the design a sparkling finish.
Diamond painting is a great creative outlet and is very easy to do. For anyone who has done cross stitch, diamond painting will be a fun alternative.
